"Glow"

This large bespoke cooker splashback shows disjointed concentric circles. It uses glass frit with phosphorescent proprties to actually glow in the dark.

This piece is called Homeward Bound.
It is an 80cm x 50cm decorative panel. Fused glass incorporating a mirror inclusion and a small hand painted character detail.
The glass was kiln worked and then the mirror was copper foiled into the fused glasswork.

This title character was hand painted and then kiln fired.

Two 50cm x 60cm kitchen tiles designed to emulate the style of Ukranian artist, Kazimir Malevich.

Highly unusual, totally unique and totally random. These kitchen tiles incorporate metallic powders and glass stringers using a novel technique that results in a textured finish.

They were manufactured as a single panel that was then divided into 16 tiles. These were then "shuffled" to give a very individual look.

  Blossom

Cave horse - Fused glass can be as delicate as you want it. Subtle gold and coppers are fused with darker frits to give a deep, understated effect.

Not much survives the extreme heat of a full glass fuse but this technique uses a temperature resistant paint which is applied and then etched out by hand before being fused....tricky, but anything is possible; a family portrait; a much loved pet; a favourite scenic view, or maybe you fancy one of the old masters, it's up to you. Some examples are shown below.
